The new Fast and Furious Looks SICK

There’s a new Fast movie coming soon! Y’all might not know this but I’m a hug fan of the series. To this day I'll argue the best version of Point Break is actually The Fast and The Furious.

I'm obsessed with everyone's hair in this trailer. Michelle Rodriguez in particular looks amazing with the shorter hair, something I've never seen her sport. Ludacris also has a top notch do. My guy has come a long way since 2Fast2Furious (That look is prime but still maybe my least favorite Tej look). Charlize Theron upgraded to a slick new style that really makes her stand out amongst the rest of the cast (Y’know, other than the fact she looks like Charlize Theron).

Also, and most importantly, Sung Kang has a great new look! Because Han's back! They listened to the fans and brought back the snack king.  The reveal is the best part of the trailer and my Twitter timeline is just covered in F9 thoughts. It's great.

Also, Vin Diesel and Tyrese keep their trademark hairdos.

2019 Year in Review

A best of 2019 list this late in January 2020? Well, it’s my blog and I do what I want. Last year was quite a year though. Especially for myself. I got a new job, started this here blog (Anniversary on the 14th!), and ventured further into storytelling and critical thinking than I had in any prior year of my life. Some of that is school related and some is related to just trying to be a better, more informed person. Today, we’re taking a look back at pop culture in 2019. And we’re doing it in the form of a Top 5, something I haven’t done in quite some time. Let’s dive in!

Last Week's Comics Reviewed 01.15.2020

Hey y’all! Welcome to my first reviews of 2020! I had hoped they would be supersized but, alas, we’re only covering three comics this week. Next week will have more comics covered. That will include some X-Men coverage, finally. This week, we get to hone in on Brian Michael Bendis though. I considered a review of Superman #18 but decided against it because it has been so long since it’s release. It was very good though. Everyone should read it.
This is from 2099 Alpha. It's dope.

Spoiler Warning for: Action Comics #1018, Young Justice #12, The Flash #85

Blog Update: First Anniversary

We made it, y’all. One year of blogging. Technically, the blog's first anniversary was last week, but my first post was 14 January so we’re celebrating today. Either way, I can’t believe we made it this long. I had been considering starting a blog for years and finally made the jump. And I’m so happy I did. It has completely reignited my love for entertainment media.

First Morbius Trailer

…What the fuck?

Ok, we all knew this movie was going to be strange. Jared Leto is strange. Morbius is strange, especially when he’s cast as the leading man. I don’t know what this trailer is trying to convey except Morbius is a vampire. Also, there’s a scene that looks like a mix of Bruce discovering the Batcave in Batman Begins and Dracula’s powers in Dracula Untold. It’s super weird and dark and I’m not sure what’s happening. But that’s kind of how I feel about the existence of this movie. Also, Michael Keaton is here because it’s apparently set in the MCU. But it’s not really. As far as I can tell, Disney has nothing to do with this.

TL;DR: This looks like a mess. Hopefully it's a beautiful mess.
